Some fighter background
British PFL sensations Brendan Loughnane, Stevie Ray and Dakota Ditcheva are currently in training ahead of the upcoming PFL Championship Finals in New York City next month on November 25th.
Fighters Brendan and Stevie are both competing for the chance to win an astounding cash prize of $1 million at the finals. Dakota, who currently holds a 6-0 PFL record will be fighting against the American, Katherine Corogones.
Scottish born mixed martial artist, Stevie Ray, currently competes in the Lightweight division of the Professional Fighters League and began his career as a professional competitor in 2010. Through Ray’s illustrious career, he has formerly competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), BAMMA and Cage Warriors, where he was the Lightweight Champion, as well as the BAMMA British Lightweight Champion. Stevie is due to fight the Canadian, Olivier Aubin-Mercier next month.
Brendan, born and raised in Manchester, started his career in 2008 where going unbeaten in his amatuer bouts, his professional career began in 2012 and he has proven his skills ever since. Brendan’s record currently stands at 25-4-0 and he hopes to add to that after the upcoming championship bout against Bubba Jenkins in New York.
Dakota Ditcheva, is a British Muay Thai Champion as well as a three-time world champion. To add to this, she is also the daughter of Karate and Muay Thai World Champion, Lisa Howarth and is looking to follow in her footsteps. In her most recent bout in August this year, Dakota dominated her opponent Hassna Gaber in August this year and is looking to continue her blistering form going forward.
