Very interesting that both these fighters have losses against Rodriquez..
Rodriquez made her MMA debut in 2015. She then went on a 9 fight winning streak until she finally made an appearance on Dana White’s contender series in 2018 (her big break) against Maria Neta. Future champ? 🤷♂️

Why won't there be any fans or media at UFC Vegas 61?
On The MMA Hour, Ariel Helwani was told that the reasoning might have something to do with Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook co-founder is a fan of the sport and has been shown to take up MMA training. At UFC Vegas 61 media day (per MMA Junkie), Mackenzie Dern did confirm the news.
"I know Mark Zuckerberg rented out the whole event. I know he'll be there," Dern stated.

“We’re looking to do a fight in the metaverse,” White said, via BJ Penn. “We’ve been working on it for a while. It’ll be a live fight, an actual fight that takes place inside the metaverse. It’d be kids at home, you put on your (goggles) and you can (get) up and go walk around. We’re still working it out, but yeah, it’ll be soon. We’ll be doing a fight in the metaverse. It’ll be a real fight.”
