I think this is gonna be one hell of a main event! T City definitely has the advantage if this hits the ground but i give the striking to Yair, they’ve both shown that they can last 25 minutes, and Ortega has shown he can take a BEATING! You know Yair will be throwing crazy, creative strikes all fight and Ortega will probably look for any opening for a takedown. Not sure who to pick on this one yet 🤔
I don’t think we’ve seen the best of Brian Ortega yet, although bald Brian (probably worth a mention on your list @joe_mmahive 😂) was pretty close when he demolished the Korean zombie.

I agree, no way we’ve seen the best of T City! He’s still got ways to go with his striking to go with his killer ground game, if he can get his striking where it was when he fought TKZ then we’re in for a real fight on this weekend! Yair also claims that the UFC has promised him a title shot if he beats Ortega, but if Ortega pulls it out do you think they feed him back to Volk considering this is his first fight after losing to him? 🤔
I heard him on MMAFighting this morning talking about up’ing his jiujitsu game.. He says that’s why Volk got out, because there were a few minor issues with his submissions 🤔
Does this mean we see him taking even more of a pummelling whilst trying to set up his submissions 😬 I hope not…
Man I sure hope not, the human body can’t take the kind of beatings he’s taken and I like watching him fight! I think the main issues are his stamina management and his defense, because Volk has said he knew he wasn’t getting out of that guillotine. Ortega just squeezed himself out. But He’s got some experience in five round fights now so his stamina and cardio should hopefully be improved but I think he’s way too confident in his chin, he may not get knocked out but those punches add up and that’s when you get fights like when he fought Max or Volk.
Well, one more sleep and we find out! Other athletes must be thinking they have the blue print to replicate what Volk and Holloway did. I predict t-city gets the win via submission in R2.
Exactly what I’m saying! Ready for this card tomorrow, I think if Ortega can’t finish him then Yair will take it by decision, I just question Ortega’s gas tank. He can go off heart if he needs to but I don’t think that’ll be enough with Yair. But besides the main event which fight are you looking forward to the most? I wanna see Jack Shore vs. Ricky Simon and Meisha Tate Vs. Lauren Murphy, they’re both gonna be good!
