Love these London cards, love to see the support those athletes have over there and they always get stacked cards since the UFC isn’t always out there! I feel like it’s easy to sleep on this card if you don’t really know. There’s more than a few great matchups this weekend but I think the sleeper fight no one is talking about is Craig v. Oezdemir, im just hurt Darren Till is out again. Would’ve been awesome to see him return in front of a home crowd! Still have to decide who I’m picking in the main event 🤔

Glad u like em mate, MMA still pretty niche here with lots of stigma attached 😬 - the crowd are insane. Tell me more about Craig v. Oezdemir…

@louisingro are you attending this one in person?

Agree with Till, I love his fighting style but also find him a very frustrating watch with all the feints

Sorry about the no posts lately dude I've been down hill I'm health but getting back slowly but surely, yeah mate I attended UFC London, the fight card overall wasn't nothing special, but the atmosphere, the fans I met, the weigh ins which I attended with Oliviera, O'Malley and Belal, meeting Arnold Allen outside, it was all so worth it.

Wow man, sounds amazing. I am going to try and get there in the future. In terms of getting it all sorted, where did you u buy tickets, travel from, stay hotel wise etc? Was it an all weekend thing? Did you get to see the O'Malley v Yan press conference?

Yeah man was a great surreal experience, so I am signed up with UFC fightclub, so you get ticket access before general sale, but that's not even a safe bet that you'll get one like I didn't, I was lucky enough to get a great seat via a resale ticket through the official O2 ticket website itself, so as I've mentioned before I am from Portsmouth, I work on the railway so I don't have to pay for train tickets and if my pals travel with me they don't either (beers on them :) ), so what we did was travel via Portsmouth to Waterloo, then underground Jubilee line to O2 (north Greenwich) that easy. I didn't stay up there as I had a lift sorted to take us back home after the event, so we went up the Friday to watch the weigh ins and the UFC 280 conference which was a nice added bonus, the next day we travelled back up to catch the event, of course being the UFC nerd I am I watched the whole fight card even if it was hard at times haha, Paddy's walkout and the loved he received is real and way more real than what you see on the TV, the lad is a superstar, meeting Arnold Allen randomly was a great pleasure, the man is a cool guy and had time for everyone that approached him. My plan next years is to do two events, UK one again then I'm thinking about a Europe card, Holland, Sweden, Germany etc.

Craig v. Oezdemir is probably the least talked about fight on this card IMO. Paul Craig is Charles Oliveira like with his bjj in the way that he’s not scared to get knocked down because he’s gonna bait you into a submission. In his last fight it looked like Krylov was gonna finish him with ground and pound but ended up getting caught in a triangle. His fight before that against Jamahal Hill was a quick one, dislocating his elbow with an armbar and rolling him into a triangle where the ref stopped it way late 🤦🏻‍♂️ I wanna see if Oezdemir will wanna go to the ground with him even if he knocks him down!

I love the energy at these UFC London events, I also love Meatball Molly, she's all heart, watching her crying on the shoulder of Laura Sanko (I think it was her) really got to me last time round. I hope she does it again, that elbow was insane.
