Well, we all know that Khabib was retired from UFC for now, but that doesn't mean he was done from MMA though. He brought GFC and renamed it Eagle FC, hoping he could partnered with UFC for promoting this fight league. (Link to the news)
Unexpectedly, he prepared that fight to be held in Miami later this weekend. (Link to the previous announcement with the planned January date)
Originally the main event was meant to be Tyrone Spong vs. Bigfoot Silva, but as Bigfoot decided to slip off the opportunities, Sergei Kharitonov has taking the foot against Spong. 
And oh, did I mentioned that this fights will going to be livestream for FREE as well? After all, he can't bring the crowd to the show, unless if you're lucky enough to be there on person.

That would be nice, if Eagle FC got more fights available. And oh, I might going to post ONE Championships next. After all, ONE has their next fight coming up later this week as well.
Was this Khabib's first eagle fc event in the USA? Is he planning on doing this alot?
Hmm, don't know if Khabib has planned to held another Eagle FC fights in the United States, but since more American fighters started to joined in the league, I would expect to see another fight card announced.
